Lavender Town Syndrome

I recently read up a little on a supposed conspiracy theory about the original 'Pocket Monsters' Games released in Japan. Apparently, the music in Lavender Town had a subliminal effect on the children, causing headaches, and in some severe cases haemorrhage's. In addition, some children developed suicidal thoughts and tried to kill themselves.
Also, inside the Pokemon Tower (situated in Lavender Town) the ghosts that appear (before you obtain the Silph Scope) also had negative affects on the children. The ghost animation sprite had 56 frames originally, and further investigation revealed that one of the frames had a picture of the Grim Reaper, which some people say is another attempt at subliminal messages.
Very creepy if you ask me, look up the music for yourself (try to find the original). Makes you kind of think back to your childhood and what kind of creep would want to mess with a children's game.
